Cei între sfinţi Părinţii noştri Vasile cel Mare (1 ianuarie), Grigorie Teologul (25 ianuarie), and Ioan Gură de Aur (13 noiembrie) sunt cunoscuţi ca Sfinţii Trei Ierarhi pentru poziţia de recunoaştere specială pe care o au în Biserica Ortodoxă.
