Gabriel
Gabriel este un nume de origine ebraică (ebr; גַּבְרִיאֵל, lit. 'Gavri'el "Dumnezeu este tăria mea"'), devenit mai apoi foarte popular și în tradiția creștină. Forma feminină a numelui, Gavrilia, este mai rar folosit (mai ales în lumea monastică).
Există mai mulți sfinți și personalități care au purtat numele de Gabriel / Gavriil / Gavrilia.
