Cuviosul Părinte de Dumnezeu-purtător Alexis Kabaliuk, Apostolul Carpato-Rusiei (30 august 1877 – 2 decembrie 1947), a fost lider al ortodoxiei carpatine la începutul secolul XX. Prăznuirea lui se ţine în 21 octombrie şi în 2 decembrie. Există şi un acatist scris în cinstea lui.
Alexander Ivanovich Kabaliuk s-a născut într-o familie greco-catolică (unită) dar s-a convertit la ortodoxie de tânăr. A devenit arhimandrit şi a jucat un rol major în renaşterea ortodoxiei în regiunea transcarpatică la începutul secolului XX, activitatea sa misionară fiind persecutată de autorităţile austro-ungare, care îi suspectau pe credincioşii ortodocşi de simpatii pro-ruse. La începutul Primului Război Mondial, Kabalyuk a fost condamnat la închisoare iar după ce a fost eliberat a fost unul din liderii ortodoxiei carpatine până la moartea sa în 1947. El este considerat un erou al ortodoxiei şi a fost proclamat în 2001 de către Biserica Ortodoxă a Ucrainei (Patriarhia Moscovei) ca primul sfânt ortodox rus al Subcarpatiei.[1]
Moaştele sale sunt păstrate în mănăstirea Sfântul Nicolae din satul Iza din Ucraina.[2]
